1969Since 1969, I have worked as a free-lance maritime and landscape painter and general illustrator
1989Awarded the prize for the ‘Best Book Jacket’ from the Association of Illustrators
1997Commissioned by the officers and men of H.M.S. Chatham during their duty as head quarters ship for the hand over of Hong Kong to China to paint a portrait of their ship and H.M.Y. Britannia during the events of that week.
1997Worked on the animated film ‘Willows in Winter’.
1998During this year I produced the complete set of illustrations for ’20,000 Leagues Under the Sea’ for the Dorling Kindersley Classic Novel series.
2000During this year my work for the Patrick O’Brian novels was exhibited by the Jinishian Gallery of Connecticut at the New York Yacht Club and the 5th Avenue Club.
2000Employed by Times Newspapers to produce my original strip cartoon ‘Ratman’ for their weekend paper.
2001During this year I worked on the animated feature films ‘A Christmas Carol, ‘Wargame’ and ‘Second Star on the Left’.
2001In November 2001 I designed and carried out the artwork for the trailers for Channel 4’s range of Christmas programmes.
2002In November 2002 I completed two large murals for the Sheikh of Abu Dhabi.
2003This year I have carried out mural paintings for the new Cunard superliner Queen Mary II.
